Dr. Mamatha Rani has expertise in two major Ancient Asian Traditional Alternative Medicines - Chinese medicine & Indian Ayurveda.  She has a vast experience of more than two decades in treating patients successfully. She has conducted several medical camps for the benefit of patients with Neuromuscular, orthopaedic problems not only in Karnataka, but also in other states too. 

- Studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - Acupuncture, Tuina, Taichi, Qi gong at the world’s best TCM college “Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine” (SHUTCM).

- Doctor of Medicine (Acupuncture), MD(Acu) from Medicina Alternativa, Srilanka, Colombo.

- Trained in TCM Neurology, Orthopaedics, Otology from Taiwan.

- Specialized in Cosmetology and Aesthetics from the world’s pioneer Cosmetologists of South Korea, UK and US.

- Dr. Mamatha Rani is the only Indian doctor to be trained in Zhu Scalp Acupuncture ( a Specialized Scalp Acupuncture technique for Neurological Diseases and disorders) till this day.

- Trained in Tan Acupuncture by the originator of Tan Acupuncture, Dr. Tan.

- Trained in Tung Acupuncture from the Direct Student of Master Tung.

- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Vinoba Bhave University

The Prestigious National Award “The President’s Guide” – Honoured by the Ex. Honourable President of India Mr. Giani Zail Singh in Dec 1986 in recognition of her service to the society

International Award:

An International Award “Gem of Acupuncture” – Awarded in an “ International Congress of Medical-Cosmetic Acupuncture and 3-1-2 Meridian Exercise” hosted by Indian Academy of Acupuncture Science, Aurangabad, India in 2012.

Lectures delivered:

- Delivered lecture on “Development and Clinical Applications of Acupuncture" in India & “2019 Southeast Asia Symposium of Traditional Medicine” in Taiwan.

- Delivered lecture on “ Introduction of Ayurveda” to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors in Veterans General Hospital, Taipei.

Resource Person:

Had the honour of being a resource person for “Manemaddu” (Home remedies) Programs hosted by AYUSH department, Government of Karnataka for three years. Renowned practitioner of Ayurveda and Acupuncture.

 Dr. Purna Prabhe has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) - Acupuncture, Tuina, Taichi, Qi gong at the world’s best TCM college “Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine” (SHUTCM). 

 -  Specially trained in TCM to treat various chronic and acute diseases from Taiwan.

 -  Studied Yoga and Naturopathy from Government Nature cure and Yoga Medical College, Mysore.
